As I was walking up the Gallowgate,
The crowd was really something hectic,
Says they to me, "When can we see,
The famous Glasgow Celtic."

So, I took them out to Celtic Park,
To see the great eleven,
Says I, "Now this is Paradise,
But mind it's no blue heaven."

For there's not a team in this whole wide world,
So glorious and majestic,
Who would never be as dear to me,
As the famous Glasgow Celtic

As I was walking up the Gallowgate,

Says they to me, "When can we see,

So, I took them out to Celtic Park,
To see the great eleven,
