[Verse]
The people of Ireland they mourn once again,
A young volunteer from the Creggan he came,
On the thirteenth December the year '94
Pól Edward Kinsella passed through heaven's door.

[Chorus]
Kinsella, Kinsella, remember him well,
This young volunteer they put him through hell,
And remember the price these young volunteers pay,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day.

[Verse]
With armed guards thеy kept him chained to his bed,
Although hе was dying no compassion they showed him,
When they paraded his family no respect did they show,
How these thugs sleep at night? Christ I never will know.

He left behind Cathy and Michaela so young,
Your Daddy, your brothers, your sister, your mom,
Your friends in the Crumlin and those dark H-Block cells,
We will all meet in heaven while the Brits go to hell.

[Chorus]
Kinsella, Kinsella, remember him well,
This young volunteer they put him through hell,
And remember the price these young volunteers pay,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day.

[Verse]
They refused Pat McLaughlin compassionate parole,
For his dying mother wouldn't let him console,
They laughed in the faces of the Louges in their grief,
But their deeds will unite us and see their defeat.

[Chorus]
Kinsella, Kinsella, remember him well,
This young volunteer they put him through hell,
And remember the price these young volunteers pay,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day.

[Verse]
The Derry Brigade fired a volley of shots,
As a final salute to a comrade they lost,
But the memory young Pól we'll have evermore,
It will help us remove this Brit scum from our shores.

The people of Ireland they mourn once again,
A young volunteer from the Creggan he came,
On the thirteenth of December in the year '94
Pól Edward Kinsella passed through heaven's door.

[Chorus]
Kinsella, Kinsella, remember him well,
This young volunteer they put him through hell,
And remember the price these young volunteers pay,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day,
To ensure that our country has freedom one day.
