[Verse]
I'm proud to be a Celtic supporter,
We don't sing sectarian songs,
We sing the songs of Ireland's freedom,
Sing the songs of our native land.

We're not bitter, hateful people;
Happy as the day is long,
We fought injustice and resentment,
Discrimination across this land,
We're proud to be the Celtic people, this is our history.

[Chorus]
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic,
Having much more fun than I thought I'd ever have,
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
We're top of the world, we're walking on sunshine,
Simply the best there can be!
I'm walking on air, we're over the moon,
We're happy go lucky and easy and free,
We're Celtic supporters all over the world,
Simply the best there can be!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!

[Verse]
When the Scots of Erin came to Alba,
That's how Scotland got its name,
They brought the culture and the language,
Till the land became Argyle,

St. Columba came to Iona,
Bringing gifts across the sea,
The gift of the music, education,
Peace and love, Christianity,
We're proud to be the Celtic people, this is our history.

[Chorus]
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic,
Having much more fun than I thought I'd ever have,
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
We're top of the world, we're walking on sunshine,
Simply the best there can be!
I'm walking on air, we're over the moon,
We're happy go lucky and easy and free,
We're Celtic supporters all over the world,
Simply the best there can be!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!

[Verse]
How could there be a famine in Ireland,
When Ireland had an abundance of food?
Enough to feed thirty million,
Taken away by the point of a gun.

Forty thousand well-fed soldiers,
Sent to take our food away,
Leaving Irish people starving,
Death and disease consumed our land,
Proud to be the Celtic people, this is our history.

[Chorus]
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic,
Having much more fun than I thought I'd ever have,
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
We're top of the world, we're walking on sunshine
Simply the best there can be!
I'm walking on air, we're over the moon,
We're happy go lucky and easy and free,
We're Celtic supporters all over the world,
Simply the best there can be!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!
Celtic, Celtic, whoa!.
